I'd have thought it would just be easier to have it working all the time, so it was more like a cammed H2C, instead of a normal one to 5.5k.

But it's not best of both worlds, imo, na vtec is as under 5500 rpm it's economical, quiet and very drivable, above 5500rpm it's really quick and very loud, Thats best of both worlds imo.

So why don't they take the vtec off??? It's only a solonoied that needs disconnecting??? i don't understand why they'd turbo a vtec?? Don't get me wrong, it's rapid, but the idea of VTEC is to have the best of both worlds, What happens when vtec kicks in??? As i thought turbo's run on low comp blocks??? VTEC must be very high comp.
