Had a day off work today so thought it was about time to fit my new exhaust and also give it a quick clean...

Its a cat back Blueflame. The quality is very good and was easy to fit (after a bit of bodging on the front end....... long story !!!) and sounds pretty nice...
Thanks to robin for the backbox and a big thanks to Rimstyle who helped me out immensely when I measured things wrong, so got sent the wrong one and couldn't get hold of blueflame etc etc.....

Cool was going to say, looks just fine as it is - I also like the rub strips on the side.

Mine's wrecked my back bumper, and I don't know how to sort it without getting it banging on the rear beam again/melting bumper

i like the exhaust, i really love ovals but could it not be mounted better as that probably will melt it!!! Plus won't it fail an mot as it doesn't actually pass the bottom lip of the bumper??

I like it but think it's a wee bit to far in, could do with coming out an inch or so so it lines up with bumper or slighlty protrudes it....

Nice though

I think i might have to cut some of the bottom of the back bumper out so it doesn't sit on it quite so much and it does seem to be a little 'tucked in', so I might have a look at pulling it out a bit further, but I can only pull it out so far due to the hangers.

I've found what its rattling on..... its the metal directly behind the bumper. How would i go about solving this ?? I did consider longer rubbers, so that it drops the exhaust down, but i thought it might mean the exhaust moves around more. my other idea was to bend the metal out of the way a bit to give some more clearance. Anyone else had this problem with the blueflame exhaust before ??

I think broster had that problem, and addressed it with a hammer.

Mine never did that, but it did come off a rubber one day and dented the spare wheel well

yeah it came off a hanger today.... no idea how, cos the hangers themselves are all the way through the rubber. I think i will also address said problem with a hammer tomorrow...... any particular type or brand of hammer you could recommend ??

erm...id recommend fitting the exhaust properly, it shouldnt touch anything..

but i find the snap-on 'dead-blow' hammers are great
