as above for a corsa

im goin to see 1 and to be honest im not fully up on what to check im one of them ppl who if it looks nice ill have it

but its not always good so this time im going to be more carefull

any help would be good

yeah, dont be fooled by these ones with red paint on, theyre not actually redtop's. theyre the more inferior grey tops with 120bhp

just check the normal stuff, dont be concerned about it being a redtop corsa, treat it like every other car you'd go to look at

ok cheers it idles high at 1000 or somert havent a clue?

got told once something about pushing the clutch down or somert to check the gears while stood still
dont no if its true ?

there fine if you dont expect a 16 year old engine thats dont near or over 100k to be fine for evreyday ragging in a corsa

my last car was a mint engine no tapping or owt really quite

it is bad when there thrashed but its finding 1 that hasnt been thrashed

i had mine on the road for 18 months. never once did it have a problem or not start. never ever broke down. i did 39 runs one day on the 1/4 mile, took it up the strip on 7 occasions. the engine had 127k on it when i put it in. it ran perfect

good engine, kicked its ass like your supposed to, had no problems at all.

exactly my point dont go into hearing just good...

muppets was put in by himself so he knew everything was done right but if your buying one with one in

u need to know if its set up right have they used gsi shafts or mtec or custom do they have right mounts aall sensors working is the engine management hooked up right is there even a bulb there

etc etc

just be carefull thats all im saying because they can be a huge pain
