I got rid of my old corsa R549 NNV when I went to uni and went without one for nearly 2 years until I needed one for my placement. Thats where R42 AVF came in....
It started like this, after adding my badgeless grille from my old car:
I soon added a magnex 3" backbox, that I bought off a mate.
A few weeks later I lowered it, after seeing the gmax kit really cheap on e-bay and added DEPO headlights:
I then found the LMF offer on the softstars, so had to buy a set....
I then hit a brick which had strayed into the road, just after a blind corner, so didn't have much choice in where to go, which resulted in...
and thats how its stayed until friday when i fitted by blueflame BFO exhaust courtesy of robin and rimstyle !!
Thats it up to now.... got a few more plans for it, but they'll have to wait for a bit as i'm skint at the minute !!

I can only assume that it had alloys an that on before hand, and was put back to standard...
Cheers for all the good comments

**UPDATE**
Was bored this afternoon, so went and bought a standard front plate and hacked the ends off it....
Before:
Trial (with an old plate):
Finished article:
I've refitted the backbox, so I think I've finally stopped the exhaust knocking and rattling, but apart from that nothing else has happened.... It needs a good clean though !!

I bought the grille nearly 3 years ago for my old corsa.... I originally got it from LMF, but not sure if they still sell them now.

**UPDATE 16/01/07**
I got fed up re-fitting the backbox as it kept banging on stuff and was far to close to the axle, so i took it to a local garage, where they changed the pipe coming from the backbox and re-bent the centre section to give me much more clearance and a better fitment on the bumper etc.
pics:
clearance on axle now (was virtually touching):
Clearance on spare wheel well (again, was touching before):
Big thanks to 1 Stop Performance for fixing my handywork !!!

Looking good. I have a T reg and it doesn't have colour coding. Your R reg does...
THe exhaust looks better like that. It seems to stick out a little more as well. I like those lights too

think he added about 3" to the pipe leaving the backbox, an hes used smaller rubbers, so it pulls it closer to the bumper....

just get the pipe coming from the back of the backbox re-done.... it only cost 75 notes, so its worth doing, cos that included cutting the bumper and the metal behind it, so theres nothing it could knock on...

Nice Looking good mate. Any more plans?
My standard exhaust used to knock loads, pissed me off to the max. Then recently I went over a massive bump and it hasnt knocked since
I should get a "Proper" Exhaust though.

**UPDATE**
Not much done, but gave it a well earned clean....
Used turtlewax shampoo to start, then meguiars clear coat scrub (it was the only cleaner lying about), then a good coat of P21s, which I have to say I'm impressed with....
Not too bad IMO for 10 year old paint.....
