She won both World and European events which is a fairly big thing, and not exactly the biggest and best list to choose form this year.

Not as shocking as Walcott getting Young Sports Personality of the Year.

BTW- Already been posted about in Match Day.

TBF What would she be without the horse.

IMO the horse should have got sports personality.

Utter crap, Prince William was there so must have been a setup, he wouldn't have gone if he knew she wasn't going to win.

I would of prefered Ricky Hatton out of that list, but i hate these awards anyway.

Always a load of rubbish and people win them because of who they are or what sport they do. IMO James Toseland should of won in 2004 as that was a real achievment that went pretty much unrecgonised. Ive not really payed much attention since.

Bit of a poor year, defo would have preffered clarke or calzaghe to win.

Stevie G should have won last year.

Darren Clarke should have EASILY won it after doing so well in the Ryder Cup after his wife dying etc etc.

TBH I dont think that was deserving enough to win it. Granted he has been through a bad time, very bad, but it would of been a sympathy vote if he had won it...he even said that himself.

She is the only British rider to have the world and European titles at the same time (One two other people have done this else where in the world), also three day eventing is alot harder than people thing.

Darren Clarke even turned around and said he did not deserve it and was only in as a sympathy vote and pleaded with people not to vote for him becuase of this.

Zara Phillip's best friend died the day before the World Chapionships (or was it the European?) in a horse riding accident during a competition, but she still went on the win that.
