Hi all, I have been on this website posting in some threads and taking an interest in projects for a while now, so thought I would post up my current little project.

A bit of history, I first had a 1.2 nova merit, which was converted to a 1.6 gte including engine bumpers interior etc all work done by myself unfortunately i have no pics of it DOH!!

My next car was a corsa B gsi, with speedline allesios, V6 brakes, FK coilovers, powerflow exhaust (lights were on when I bought it, it wasn't me lol) pic below

The gsi then developed a bad smoking habit and so I sold her (should have kept it and put a 2ltr in nevermind)

I then bought a MK3 cavalier sri that my dad and my brother had owned, it was totally standard when I bought it. I fitted V6 brakes, spax adjustables 18" technomagnesio detroit F1's, powerflow side exit exhaust, rieger rear diffuser smoothed in, reiger skirts and gsi front bumper as well as a bit of ICE, again all done by myself (see below)

From this

To this

I then got fed up with not be able to get anywhere due to speed bumps and a few other problems with it and so sold this car

and bought my current corsa in october

I wanted a cheap run around that I would spend any money on since I have fitted corsa sport seats (no pics)

Then got rid of the bus size steering wheel

for a sexier little number

Since I have collected some of these as a xmas present thanks to Bri_Sri thankyou sir

also picked up some cav gsi wheels at the weekend, just flicked off all the loose paint, going to get the tyres removed and blast at work. Then powdercoated by a good mate (novaneil:thumbs will update the refurb with pics as I go

So over the xmas hol and new year I shall be fitting the cav gsi rims, and spax coilovers will keep posted with progress.

Oh and nearly forgot also refurbing this over winter ready for next year thanks to Padge16V (altho minus the throttle boddies)

and fitting next year along with the essentials brakes etc!

Hope you like, sorry for yet another one

thanks to those who have helped find bits etc you know who you are

(hope it bl00dy posts right now! lol)

Thanks for the comments guys, the cav was good and I was proud that I had done all the work myself.

Was strapped for cash at the time and it had a few problems so I got rid.

Don't worry neil the corsa will be far better

As you can also see I like to keep the underside nicely waxoiled

Also my cav gsi wheels have been refurbed on the cheap by a good mate (cheers novaneil) I shall be picking them up at the weekend with tyres.

From this

Thanks mate,

Picking them up saturday so will get some more pics up.

I paid £40 for the wheels, then mate grit blasted and powder coated them for me

I put wanted adverts on here, novaload, migweb and vauxhall owners network. Got quite a few people offering them.

What stopping power!!

Brakes are the next buy mate

Had a few probs this weekend it seems the water run off pipe for the sunroof had somehow managed to come out of the hole its meant to go out under the car and was stickin out in the car near the footwell. So drivers side carpet was soaking!

So currently have a stripped out car haha, until I get the pipe fixed. Temporary washing up bottle catchin water!

Its dried out ok tho, so no problem.

Looking forward to getting the wheels on, will get some pics up,

oh also painted v grille black looks ok

24th January 07 (my birthday )

Hi guys little bit of progress made, I got my wheels back at the weekend. After an initial hickup with tyres touching the front coilovers my wheel spacers arrived today so rushed home and put them on.

Took some quick pics as the light was dieing, a bit high at the backbut there is no interior in at the moment it will be going back in and prob get some 90mm springs

heres some pics

next on the list are some bigger brakes and then its XE time

hope you like, any comments welcome.

Don't worry, you know the repeaters are going and I like low cars so the rear will be on its ass

Not updated for a while, my wallet has been recovering after christmas!

Just a few small things, put some smoked side repeaters on and sprayed the v grill black for the moment.

Still on the list of things to do include 2ltr brakes, on there way from Dhdv and novaneil. Will update once there on, 80mm rear springs, then I shall be buying my XE to refurb before it goes in later this year

hope you like it so far not much happening

cheers
