[quote="martin-reyland"]I did start a thread ages ago but can't find it
This is the car as I bought it from the MG racing auction..
As you can see it was yellow originally
here's the Audi engine trial fitted
the original brakes
Added some VW golf vents into the bonnet to aid cooling in the turbo area
Decided to return it to yellow!
It's going to need to stop..
the wheels
The bulkhead modified to accept the modded bias pedal box
electric power steering
Engine and gearbox test fit
Rover alternator on Audi engine
Adaptor plate Audi engine to Rover gearbox
Clutch plate
clutch cover (anyone know what wording has been ground off it?)
Rover sized flwheel with Audi bolt pattern
New spherical bearing top mounts made and Leda strut
Adjustable TCA
Will bolt it all together over Christmas..

My thoughts exactly. All the Audis/VWs/Skodas and Seats they could've used for starters.

when i first saw it i thought it was the 25 that was at usc. that was stupid quick but i think they used the tomcat 2.0 turbo engine???

im laughing at every1 sayin put it in a lupo or arosa,....why?
thats the obvious choice,
who the hell would think of that engine in a rover25, whats more who the hell thought a rover25 would pass them at 145mph
it has grin factor, and its what a 1off project is all about
