well i am a panel beater by trade and for me to do it the metal work alone ie leaving it ready for primer i reckon would take 10 hours to do it till id be happy with the quality. so bodyshop rates thats 250 already then paint labour and material cost on top of that plus stripping and fitting labour charges and vat. ur into 500. why dont u call ur local insurance approved bodyshop how much?? it will scare u...

Ahh that looks like the 'devil spoiler' from Ebay?? I bought this spoiler a month or two ago, and my god, its the most shoddy and rubbish spoiler EVER, to put it to you straight, this spoiler does not fit, will not fit, in any shape or form, believe me the guys at my bodyshop said it was the worst they've seen, so I sent it back and bought the 'furious 2' spoiler from Ultimate Velocity (this spoiler is a poor rep of it) I hope anyway that its not the 'devil spoiler'!!!! Your looking at 500 i agree.

That has to be the single most awfull spoiler ive ever seen IMO, but if you like it then its ur choice. And dont buy one of those panals, get it welded and do a proper job. Cheaper is never better

exactly. unless u could get someone to do it as a homer type thing then u wont have to pay bodyshop prices, like i meanw hen i do homers i charge a tenner an hour whereas in work i am charged out at 25 per hour

steve i thought our bodyshop was expensive but that quote of urs seems very high!

smooth the boot and spray = £250
Spray spoiler and fit = £150

so all in your looking at around £400 from our bodyshop but you will be able to get a decent job from a back street garage at a fair price!

Thats not bad, remember there is ALOT of spoiler to spray lol and its a bitch to fit, the boot has to be adjusted because it hits the spoiler on the roof when the boot is opened, I had to get shorter boot struts.

well thats wot i mean if i was doing it as a homer i would need around 100 to do the metalwork and my painter mate as a rough guide would need 100 to paint. (always use that as my guide to pricing jobs as 100 per panel). so theres 200 and to be honest for an everage spoiler 100 would be enough unless it was a complete ballache in which case i would contact the owner and explain/re negotiate etc

Definately getting it welded when the guy qouted me 350 I fought it was going to be less but I've seen his work and its really good hes got all the tools and everything to do it so I'll be happy at £350. I'm keeping the blade in the middle I personally think it looks better like that I've seen it on 2 cars with the same bodykit as mine and it looks mint thanks for every1 options

So is it the one off Ebay???
Honestly it looks so much better without the blade, I wish I had some decent pix of my car to show you, but this will do as his exterior is near identical to mine!

Oh and get some shorter struts or when you open the boot, it WILL hit the roof!
