I really need to give up. For me it's more habit than the cigs themselves. I did quit a while back, then caved in when i was pissed.

That's why I don't quit.

What do we do in that time when we used to go out for a fag?

I quit 31 hours ago, i get some scary cravings, but i tell myself no and do something else. will be hard but i want to do it, so!

I don't smoke fags so i should be ok in that sence.

Did you get the hot/cold treatment when you first stopped? How long did you smoke for? Im presuming its the toxins and the "rota" of my body, but not sure yet, might just be mind games. Nevertheless, I have some sleeping pills just in case tonight

TBH, i didn't actually miss smoking a joint, but i do miss the actual rolling, and the feeling, which is the parts that are addictive...

And the boredom... Ohhh my the boredom of a weekday evening now.

Daimo i know how you feel - i rarely smoke fags but ive smoked green for about 7 years and solid for about 2 years before that - i find it incredibly boring not having a joint - worse time is when you just get in from work - trying doing weights instead or running/situps all that sort of thing helps.
Im struggling to give up though

Nail on head... Sound the same as me, started on solid, moved to green

Yeah all active stuff, but tbh, my actual health is the best its ever been, my weights spot on, i don't really need to get much healthier (Well, maybe lung capacity but not something i want to do during the winter).

Someones suggested buying model kits and for the firtst few weeks concentrate on build them to take my mind off it.... Not a bad idea tbh.
AS you say, coming home from work, every day, skin up. I got home last night, walked round the house about 20 times, went on the computer, lubbed my bike chain (had to put on stand etc), came back in.......

6.32pm... Dammit, i've done all this and i usually would only jsut be going out to smoke.

Dammit dammit

My dad, uncle, auntie, gran and some mates have all quit after reading that book. My dad's been around 4 years now and he's never bothered since. He actually hates being around people who smoke now cos he can't stand the smell.

Took me about 6 months to feel properly normal again, and i smoked it for about 7/8 years aswell. Keep at it mate, my life is 10000x better without it
