I seen him live about 10 years ago when he could get away with loads of his jokes and he was superb in the theatre...

Because 'chav' is the 'in' word and if you do not like something to make yourself look good you call it a 'chav' etc etc...The most over used word ever.....

He swears a lot and makes jokes which, generally speaking, poorly educated people will laugh at just because he said c*nt or w*nk. Thats not real comedy. He isn't clever enough to pull off real comedy.

Someone like Paul Merton is better IMO

He was in his prime more than 15 years ago. Things change in time. I'm sure people will look back on Jimmy Carr in 15 years and think 'smug cunt'.

Not at all

Making jokes about "Pakis" & just being generally racist is what appeals to chavs. Im only using that word because people can relate to that word easier

The people in his audiance are probably the same people who'd vote BNP purely because they don't know any better. In the same way that they're probably only at his stand up show because they don't know any better.

Ok, put another way

Roy speaks to two men; Mr A & Mr B.

He says to each of them "I punched a paki today cos I hate them"

Mr A replies "fucking nice one, hate them paki bastards"

Mr B says "Why? You hit someone for no reason apart from they're a differant race"

Same question sparks a differant response out of differant types of people. What type of person do you think Mr A is?

A lot of people are racist because they think its the easier thing to do. Its a child-like response to not like something thats differant

i dont like him personally but i dont see how you can pidgeon hole people that do into groups.

I watch Family Guy South Park etc etc all racist at times all discrimating at times but it doesn't make me a racist for finding it funny.

Aye, he's a big fat lying bullshitting mofo who is soon to recieve a very nasty letter from my mother after reading extracts from his book.

And i have to say, yeah, his shows were always full of what you could call "the idiot class" (think of Chavs before they became known as chavs...).

Slate him away, no bother
