Was bored in December, and ojc posted that Brentacre are ace - So I gave them a ring.

Just phoned up them to confirm and pay for my new policy, which starts at midnight.

Cost me £1300 TPFT - 12,000 Annual Miles, 150bhp limit, All mods covered and can add anything I want. This is of course covering the XE engine which will be going in soon!

I even stuck a couple of mods on there that I haven't even got yet . The best bit was that I could do through, and literally tell him exactly what I had on the car, where the parts came from and makes. And he knew exactly what I was on about. Much better than phoning Asda last year and them asking where the Side repeaters go.

Well chuffed.

£1300 on a 1.2?

Sounds kinda bad, I paid that for FC on my corsa.

Ok I didnt see the 2.0 part. Thats a very fair price then. And TPFT should be fine as corsa parts are easy to find.

Bill & Kerry? They are awesome, they know exactly what your talking about. They do specialist insurance for Fords as well, a lot of the RS boys are insured with them as well.

They are very good.

Adrian flux sent my renewall through the other week, the price was £1700 FC.

I called Brentacre and they came up with £1150 FC with protected NCB.

I call adrian flux and told them the price , they said they would not match it without proof as it was so cheap Brentacre sent me proof called up Adrian Flux and they wer enot impressed , had to go to the manager and then they came back and said they would do it for £1140

They're both underwritten by Highway. I presume the comissions are different - Hence the difference in price!
