Right as you can see i made it home. Took me 4 hours to get home but i made it. The Corsa is dead and sat in disgrace

Cost us £550 to get home and had to pick a calton GSI up on the way home as well as his engine mount collapsed (also done at the pod) I have picys i shall put on tonight.

Damage - Inner CV + Smashed Diff = fucked gearbox.

All in a days fun though. Think i was a bit heavy with the right foot.

Picys will be on tonight. There isn't really any of the damage as you couldn't really see anything. Just a horrible noise.

For £80 or whatever it costs its totally worth it!

If you get home recovery they tow you as long as it takes. When i was younger we once broke down in dorset and had to be towed from there.

Joined the RAC which cost £150 the £400 to get home My brother had to pay for it as i had no spare money.

We Suggested leaving it Dave but the RAC bloke who came to see if he could fix it said that if we left the car there then the chances of it been there the day after where minimal, as he used to race at santa pod and lost a car there. He told us that when he cam back the day after to get it they had put it into one of the fields and covered it in hay. He said that there is so many ways on its not worth it.

She should be back on the road by sunday. Me and our drew gonna strip it down tonight.

a few bits of advice i picked up.

1 - Don't tell them you where on the strip when you report it
2 - Don't tell the person who comes to look at it you where on the strip. If you have the numbers on the windows that they write in chalk get rid of them a.s.a.p as they can refuse
3 - Don't tell the pick up driver you where on the strip till your car is actually on the back of the truck
4 - finally don't kick off with anyone of them that turns up as they will tell you to fuck off.

Oh and the first chap that came to look at it said its the fact i have 17's on this wouldn't of helped matters so that has cleared one thing up which i was undecided about and that is 16's will be going on.
