Got a really bad toothache around where my wisdom teeth are. I had some nurofen to kill the pain but left them in my car last night, anyway I woke up at 3am and just couldnt sleep because of the pain. So I had to go outside at 4am to get them out of my car, it was fooking freezing!
Really don't want to go to the dentist, I hate the dentist.

Don't go to the dentist...they are evil and I don't care what anyone says...getting your wisdom teeth out bloody hurts
I was told that the bottom one would be worse than the top one, so they took that one out first.
Taking it out was ok....except they had a student in so spoke through everything they were doing Injections wore off...got a bit sore...had a big swollen and bruised jaw for a week which wasnt the prettiest (especially when the bruise turned yellow)
so went back a month later to get the top one out....Oh dear god....it felt like they were going to pull my nose off my face! I had to get 8 injections all round the top of my mouth and I was still screaming in pain
My third and last one is coming through now (which they said it wouldnt) but there's not a hope in hell that I'm going to get it checked

Thanks for that Fee

It's my top right one that feels a bit sore. I've had 8 normal teeth out in the past and that fucking hurt enough. Like you said, it's the amount of force needed to get the teeth out that freaks me out! And the cracking noises...

have had one tooth out and a filling. Wasnt that sore and has been cheap. most expensive time was £15

I had similar pain about 3/4 months ago. Now i'd be more than happy if this pain passes, and then comes back again in a few months. I could live with that
My dentist is a rip off merchant. £75 for a white filling. It was that or about £15 for a black one, but i've had a black one before and it looks well odd. Luckily the white one was replacing the black one which had fallen out.

my advice is go to the dentist, I put off going for uears and toothache come and go, just before christmas it came back so bad it was untrue, everytime I put my foot down on the ground my head felt like it was going to explode.
I ended up taking all sorts of perscription pain killers that i erm 'borowed' from people for the 3 weeks untill I could get it taken out.

You're quite right.
I'll reassess the situtation on Monday. Doesn't feel too bad right now.

I hate dentists too evil fuckers
Last time I had toothache I had no painkillers, nowhere around me was open so I just got hammered on vodka. It worked, I got a good nights sleep and never had toothache since for some reason...that was about 2 years ago!

oh I'm not sure about that....the reason I got mine checked out was because I got a bad infection in one of them and it started after a heavy long weekend drinking session

I'm hoping its just that. Like I said above I had similar discomfort a few months back. Might be them moving about or something.

Are you familiar with the cracking? It's the worst sound in the world! And the length of the roots on a tooth is shocking, they're massive!!

I think it's the root coming away from the gum. 8 teeth out, every single one cracked

I used to wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I had been punched in the mouth....haven't had that since I've had them out....so I guess that's a good thing
I think that was because one of them was growing in sideyways towards my teeth rather than down the way

the sound that I hated was when they were stitching the socket up and the thread kinda squeeked as they pulled it through

the cracking is the tooth coming away from the bone! I've had mine out had uppers and lowers all at the same time, it does hurt afterwards and most dentist's will only take wisdom teeth out if you have had 2 lots of problems with them as it's a difficult procedure! rinse with warm salt water twice a day to prevent any infections and i know it sounds daft but try eat biscuits etc where it's coming through to help break the gum where it's pushing through! p.s. girls swell up and bruise more easily than guys after extraction not sure why thou!
