Where do i find tyres?? I've tried looking everywhere but no one lists 185/45 15's? Is this a rare size? Tried the link at the top of the page and rsr but they come up with nothing.

out of interest, if i was to stretch a tyre, 1) will any tyre fitter fit tyres that aren't wide enough for the wheels? 2) would you reccomend getting a bigger profile?

well i'm not sure if a 195 will rub my rear arches with a 8" rim, so wondering if a 185 would be better. Maybe i'll just get the 195's!

will be a bit stretched! Corsa_Carl had 195's on a 8.5" rim without much of a stretch.

Do you really want to risk it though? If you went around a corner to fast your rim would hit the ground and spark everywhere

tyres would only roll on the front i would of thought, they won't be as stretched as the rears. Maybe i should just get the 195's, play it safe.

There is one Nangkang tyre that is 185/45/15.

Personally i'd get a bigger size and get something decent

Danny has already told you that on a 9 inch rim he had 205's and that was a massive stretch, don't do it.

well i've not heard of tyres popping off or wheels scrapping on the road before???

There are loads of cars with seriously stretched tyres. i just want the rears to have a bit more of a dish, 195's should be fine, my mate had 205's on a 9" rim, wasn't a massive stretch, he used a 50 profile though.
