got a message from xbox live the other day saying theyre doing some updates so live is down from 7am gmt for 14 hours today,

anyone know what theyre doing? i heard something a while back that eventually you would be able to stream proper films on the 360, kinda like sky movies

just a few updates/tweeks i should imagine. although last update they did ment we could play games in 1080

in usa they can donwload movies. in hd aswell. just costs ms points. don't think that will be added in this update. would be nice tho

afaik, this isnt a dashboard update so dont expect anything new with your xbox. I think its just like it says, a bit of maintenance at their end

Yeah as far as I am aware its not a dashboard update, but the service should just be abit quicker and more stable, not that I have experienced any stability issues.

I wonder if they will fix all the glitches in COD3, they piss me off
