Seen an ad in this months Total Vauxhall for Sportex exhausts and they seem pretty cheap, which is appealing as I'm on a budget, simply want to get rid of my pea shooter.
Get a 2 year guarantee with it, so it's obviously only mild-steel, but I just wondered how good they were, especially as they are so cheap?
Thoughts, opinions, thanks

Also, I don't want anything that is loud. Read a few threads below and there are mixed opinions about them.
So what is the sound really like?

think mines a sportex. looks and sounds quite nice i think
4x3 oval. (got it sitting higher than what it is in this picture by moving the exhaust clamps up a knotch on the rubber.

I had a sportex decat on my 1.6, it fitted perfectly.
My Mini had a full sportex system which seemed good.
I think it's one of those names which most people aren't overly familiar with, so avoid them without ever having seen one.

Everyone ive ever had has fitted poorly tbh.
Ive had systems, backboxes and manifolds(manifolds nearly touching the sump etc)
Ashley fit far better.

magnex small oval backbox would look the bizz, wont make alot of noise unless its either a full system with decat or running on a 1.4 or 1.6...you might need some form of shim from the 12v pipe
oh and the magnex is stainless steel

I only have 12v's, so won't be going for a full system.
Simply want a back box to tidy up the rear end, as I've said before, especially as exhaust trims are cheap and nasty.
