Congratulations. It's hardly an achievment though is it? The Scottish Premier League is utter shit. A 2 horse race every season with 8 other teams who have absolutely fuck all chance of winning the championship or competing with the 2 "big boys".

A bit like the Premiership with less teams now I come to think of it.

Not always the case though, look at Arsenals 2004 season, if it wasn't for their injuries this season they would have been right on the top 2's backs.

Oh, OK then. Well if Wigan had held onto the lead everytime they went ahead this season they'd be fourth right now. Excuses are fuck all, the final placings are all that matter.

The fact is, the top 2 in Scotland will always win the league in years to come, and Im willing to wager the top 2 in England will always win the league in the next few years to come, with Arsenal and Liverpool behind, and everyone seeing a top 5 finish as the best thing they can achieve.

The money gap between the top 2 in Scotland, and top 4 in England compared to the rest makes it impossible for the rest to catch up.

Wigan will never be contenders. Arsenal could be a contender next season, we all saw how their young players did in the Carling Cup. Bring Henry, Van Persie and Walcott back and they will be challenging.
