Right, which oil burner do I go for?

Budget 6k? Prefer something new as possible and pretty quick or potential to be quick.

Every answer you will get with be a VAG engine car so look at Audi a3, vw golf, skoda fabia, seat ibiza. All have massive potential and great as standard!

Looks well...but I would want to get one with slightly lower miles and standard if possible...

Thats just my personal preference though of course...but the model of car is bang on for what you need...

Car in the link has a lot of miles for its age - prob nothing to worry bout but i wudnt go for it due to this and the fact that it is modified probably means that its been pushed

Nice car though

Mate's DCi is amazing. He paid 5.5k for an 04 plate with 24k on it. Including a 24 month warranty, mats, fuel, tax (£35).

Pretty quick too, Drive it hard all day it will still cruise at 110 and do 50mpg.

I know the Clio is a damn good car and I'm not concerned about the French car shit that people spout on here, however I would prefer something slightly larger.

What he said, the ibiza FR was right at the upper limit of my budget, and for whatever reason a vrs would have cost me more to insure - so I went SEAT.
