Been a few names branded around now thats its a done deal, Anelka, Tevez and Martins being the main ones i've heard. What does everyone else think?

Nah i think Anelka has been lined up actually, Trezeguet was another one i heard but he's just signed a new deal at Juve.
Don't know if you want to get involved in deals for Tevez, who actually owns the guy?

Not sure they would want Anelka back would they after his attitude?! Be a very dodgy signing IMO.

anelka would be a controversial move... if he could be the player he was but without his moaning brother then he could be a great replacement. but i dunno. wuold suit our play well.... i cant see us signing anyone tbh
and playing Adebayor and van persie up top. i just dont think adebayor is cut from the right cloth for arsenal

I reckon he'd be a good signing, he could do well and the whole team is different since he was last there so can;t see the problem, arsene would be fine managing him for his last season with arsenal imo

I agree about Adebayor although I would say he is a good squad player to have. We have Bendtner coming in this year as well who is quite big and strong. So maybe he can be used against the lower teams to grind out those results we couldnt get last season.
But we def need to get someone class to go along side RVP. Anelka is a quality player and like you said, without his moaning brother, could be even better. I think someone with pace would be good though.

Someone with pace, class and a proven goalscoring record in the Premiership, i know of a striker at Barcelona with quite frighteningly similar qualities

Not sure if you'll get any big names. Tevez would cost too much IMO (around £30m), Anelka didnt (doesnt) get on with Wenger and not sure if the board want him back, Martins would probably move but will Newcastle let him, Eto wont be moving and would be too much, Torres is ours...

Pah knowing Arsenal we wont get in anyone to 'replace' him as Wenger will say he has confidence in our squad 
I cant see Anelka coming back, when he left he left things sour, and we made too much money out of him to spend money signing him again.
I cant see us bringing in any big names IMO, Eto or Torres would be a dream, but cant see it happening

Adriano is being touted about by Inter, with Tevez being a main target of theirs, and Adriano angering the Inter board/management with his off the field antics.
He has stated he would prefer to stay with them, and if not to stay in Italy. But how amazing could Adriano be in the Prem under the right manager and in the right team with his strength and power
