Or is this completely fucking unreasonable?

I park up outside my flat at according to my clock 1757, free parking commences at 1800. I therefore don't pay £1.20 for an hours parking and just leave the car.

Look out the window 5 minutes later and some prick has put a parking ticket on my car.

I go get the ticket, they want £60 off of me and the time on the ticket is 1757. That in my eyes is plain un-reasonable.

say you were getting some change as you only had notes, and by time you got back it was gone 18

0 so the machine wouldnt take the cash, and then you noticed the penalty notice

The stupid person put a ticket on my car once before it was even a pay to park zone. That's what you have to deal with round here FFS.

There supposed to take the reg down, wait 10 mins, then if the car is still not displaying a valid ticket, issue the PCN.

The 10 mins allows for time to find an alternate ticket machine if the local one is out, or to get change, etc...
