Im looking at goin for one as the Ibiza cupra is 2300fc and its a group 15..If i can get a nice astra cheaper il go for that dont forget im 20 with 0NCB but been driving nearly 3 years so will have my 1st ncb soon..

1 accident was my fault..

I want a grown up car with plenty off pull & feel to it and to be nice inside and out..
Ive seen on parkers that a 2.2 sri is group 13 is that right?

What are the stats on theses?

i thought you bought a cupra danny?

im sure ive read the 1.8 is quicker to 60 because of the difference in gearboxes

Nope I went to view it but for 5k id have to go Fc otherwise its a complete waist of money if i smash it up...

Got a quote from norwich union 1980 Fc with 320 excess and courtesy car ect for a 1.8 16v sri bertone...But will try brenactre on monday morning as they do really good quotes for me tbh...might even try for 2.2 but defo goin for bertone version... And its gotta be black..

Im lookin at 3k+ for insurance FC on a cupra with my 0 Ncb And i cant justerfy(sp) spending that,ive done it before and defo not doin it again..

if u are after a 2.2. then the only one to go for is the se1/2 model..

i had one of these and the interior is lovely.

u get blue alcantara centres, and door cards and black leather down the sides of the seats.

u also get a couple of other extras on the se1/2 models.

all 2.2's will come with cloth unless they are special edition models or the first owner has specified leather as an option

same as the 2.2..

only get leather and alcantara like above if its a special edition or the owner has ticked as an option.

i've yet to see a basic coupe 1.8 or 2.2 with plain leather.


se1 /2 - comes with blue alcantara / black leather

linea rossa - comes with red leather and black leather

edition 100 - comes with a kinda beige /biscuit coloured leather

all the above are avaiable in 1.8 and 2.2.


depends what u are after really... colour wise of the car etc

only way u will get a 1.8 with leather is if the owner has specified it as an option when they first bought it. otherwise it will come with cloth seats.

only 1.8s that are gauranteed to have leather are the ones i listed above

Defo gonna have to be leather with the astra...So seems its a blue one then

Seen a Really nice dark blue on on AT 1.8 16v with leather 34k miles..

didnt say they didnt exist.
