Spent literally hours the other day trying to get my steering wheel off, didn't move an inch. Decided to buy a steering wheel puller kit, was about £12 from a local car parts shop. Got home today, whipped the battery off, took the airbag off, undid the nut, went to open the kit & then realised there's no bolts to go with it So it's completely useless
Doing my head in now, why do they have to be such a pain to get off
Rant over

easy to get off. undo the nut but leave it on a few threads. now grap the wheel and put your feet on the floor near the pedals and pull using your legs. now rock side to side.
never failed on me, just leave the nut on a few threads, saves getting a wheel in the face

Put the nut back on by a turn or two, then hang off the wheel, pull it back really hard repeatedly.
Should come off then

Here is the new wheel

Here is what the old wheel looks like on the column

Nice & snug...
and the new wheel

loose as a goose
Clearly not for the Corsa B as advertised

Still waiting to hear back from the seller as to where they got it from & how it became confused with a Corsa B wheel
