within a 16 day period, you can get it exchanged for the correct television. you'll be lucky to get a full refund. but with polite manners and the right attiude you should be fine.

I'd call their customer services number, they'll probably be able to arrange an exchange for you.

How long ago was it you bought it?
Aslong as you have all receipts showing the model number, etc. and a copy of the advert showing they advertised it as having HD then you'll be able to get a refund.

find a copy of the old advertised tv and take it back, im sure they will change it. whats the make and model of the tv as im sure there are a few people on here that would have a copy of the old catalogue if you dont have one, surely someone will send you the page.
as it was falsely advertised they should change it no problem as they should know it is their mistake, but if they get funny, take a trip to Citizens advice bureau.

just talk to customer services then. I expect they might already know all about it so will have no trouble getting a refund.

What exactly is the issue here?
Just because they don't say it's hd anymore?
The resolution is high enough to be hd and it also says on the samsung site it is hdtv ready

that piece of paper is useless to you. its for the stock employee's refernce to find the product. i.e. A03 is where its locatied in the stock room, last 0004 means including that product, there are 4 of them leav't. ord no 808 is just on the day what number the counter staff have to call out. tbh you shouldn't even have that paper. the staff should rip that off once the product is in your hands.

yeah whats the problem actually, did you purchase the tv thinkin it would be a higer resolution than you found out it is, tbh i dont have high hopes for you as you have been using the tv fine for 5 month.
i cant remeber exactly and cant be bothered to check up on it, but with cases of misrepresentation or whatever it would come under the law usually gives a guide line of " problems being brought to attension within a reasonable ammount of time" 5 month is out of reason tbh.
although like people have said give customer services a call and see what they say, tbh though i dont think legally you have any come back.
and as john said the actuall advertisment is skethy any way does it just say HD or did it give an exact resolution?
id say stick with it and save your self the hassel tbh.
