Im carless a the moment and im torn between several cars as to my next purchase

The List - (wee bit big)

BMW E30/E36
Nova
Cavalier MKII/MKIII
Astra MKII/MKIII
Toyota Corolla AE82/AE86
Civic EG
Renault 5
205
106 Phase1
AX GT/GTi
Polo MK3/MK4
Or anything thats not you usual Saxo, Corsa etc etc (just remembered what site im on )

Im rather pushed for insurance as i have errr 'a few' points.

Anyone hav opinions on said cars?

How similar are the MK2's to the MK3's?

As i had a MK3 and it was utter pants.

Had it one month and got rid.

Shame really as i do like VW's

i've just purchased a white bmw e30 318i.its been sat on someones drive for a year and it started first turn of the key (with jump leads)!! its the older 115bhp engine cus its a d reg but seems pretty pokey.
