what do u people think 2 the mantzel inlets im thinking of buying 1 for my 1,6 just wanted a bit of info

Good bit of kit for the money if you can't afford TB's. They do work quite well especially at around 4.5-5K. thats one downfall though, the power is at the top of the revs.

From what ive herd on here they seem pretty good. You will notice the gain higher up in the revs. I have a lexmaul on my X14XE and there is definatly a difference but I'm used to it now.

Mantzel - £500 direct from Germany

Lexmaul - Rare as rocking horse shit.

i had one on my 1.4 sport, you notice a huge difference form around 5k revs. i would definitley recommend it, i had my car re-mapped aswell which i'm told makes the inlet more effective. not sure if thats the case though. i've yet to here a bad report about these.

Some e-bay copies had the wrong angle for the Throttle body so it hit the bulkhead. Plus some have fell to bits.

do it, my brother had just fitted a copyied inlet manifold, 4-2-1 manifold etc and it has made a massive difference, would recommend defo

do it yourself, theres a tutorial on this site of how to fit one, my brother did his himself last week following that guide

i fitted a dblias 1 on my old car and snaped a wire and blew the e c u so ill let a garage do it i dont want 2 bugger up this 1

They're not that rare. Theres a company in Scotland called Super Speed who are an official Lexmaul dealer & they do them for £325 brand new inc postage
