High-efficiency polypropylene woofer cones - This lightweight and popular cone material is used to ensure maximum woofer efficiency. The benefit is high output with modest amplifier power. Large-roll rubber surrounds - This material provides optimum cone-edge suspension and absorbs distortions that may travel up the cone edge. The benefit is reduced distortion. Progressive spider - Each GT4 subwoofer features a progressive spider, which provides better control at excursion limits than a linear spider. The benefit is reduced distortion at high output levels. Deep-draw I-beam basket - This provides room for a longer motor structure, which provides increased bass output. This basket is also more rigid and has a lower basket resonance. The benefit is lower woofer distortion. Vented polepieces - Additional cooling is provided to the motor structure. The benefit is that each GT4 subwoofer's thermal capabilities are augmented, increasing power handling. 12mm Linear one-way X-max and dual 1100 grams (2200 grams) magnets make this subwoofer a great choice for high output applications. Custom-tuned bass reflex systems acoustically optimized for the in-car environment. Precision-tuned for extended, powerful deep bass.

The GTO601.1 features a high-frequency Class D switching power supply. This topology is more efficient that traditional Class AB designs, drawing far less current from your vehicle charging system. The GTO601.1 features a 12dB per octave electronic crossover, allowing you to optimize bass performance based on cabin size, as well as subwoofer location and enclosure type. RCA low-level inputs. Full-range preamp outputs facilitate use of multiple amplifiers without the need for noisy and expensive adapters or signal splitters. A variable bass boost circuit is provided to optimize system response.
