Turned up with the KY Jelly this morning to get my car serviced by a Fiat main dealer expecting it to cost millions. That and I hate paying other people to do such simple work
The good thing is they only want £150 to do it's servicing which I thought was quite reasonable as I know how much some other manufacturers charge Let's hope I've not fucked it and need more work doing though

It's under warrenty, so providing I haven't broken anything they should be free. But I would imagine that if they wanted to fit new brake pads or similar they would charge a fortune. Though I'm wondering if that would invalidate the warrenty if I did work like that. Would be a joke if that was the case.

warrenty would be valid as long as you OEM parts and get a receipt for parts used
Did this on the TT
Major service was over 800 at the dealer
Parts cost 200 and my mate did the service saving me 600 notes

According to the Fiat website I can buy 2345 services for £908. They must have really spent some time designing a car that will last that long

All this full manufac. service history is a must crap needs to stop.Go to a specialist it's as good as and will only cost about £60.

No, the point I was making is that I was expecting it to be a lot more than what I am going to be paying.

Correct
When i sold the TT I lost 500 on the price as it was classed as part service history due to no audi Stamp but had all the audi receipts
However I saved about 1500 by not going to audi thus still a 1000 better off

no need for that, i was simply saying if you did change the brake pads you couldn't possibly invalidate the warranty as there would be no warranty to invalidate

The brakes are covered by warrenty though.
