timeattack car....
its pretty quick
420bhp
Car spec : Quaife LSD, AST suspension, AP Brakes, Carbotech XP8 Pads, Toda Manifold, Hondata ECU, 750 cc injectors.
Olivers EP3 Type-R Civic certainly deserves the 'Pocket Rocket' industry title given to it
This stealth black machine runs the 2 litre unit coupled nicely to a C30 Rotrex high boost supercharger unit pushing the bhp to a very respectable 420 with none of the lag associated with a turbo!
Fuel hits the system thanks to 750cc injectors controlled by the popular choice of engine management that is Hondata, Oliver also lists a Toda exhaust manifold in his impressive parts line up to assist with getting rid of the waste gases.
Being front wheel drive and having 420bhp is a handful in anyones books, Oliver has opted for the Quaife LSD to try and keep it all in check, on track manners are kept in order courtesy of AST suspension, AP Brakes running Carbotech pads.
His best experience of 2006 was standing on the top step of the Time Attack Club Challenge podium, a well deserved win in class!
Oliver lists another EP3 pilot Gunther Vallons as being the driver he is most looking forward to competing against this year, ' Gunther has more power in his Type-R however being a turbo car rather than a supercharged car might see that power advantage become more of a hinderance than help, we shall see which is quicker when we get out there this year' said Crawford, ' One thing is for sure, I reckon we will certainly give the bigger powered 4WD cars a run for their money'
Personal favourite race venue from this years calendar for Oliver will be Brands Hatch, ' Brands is going to be great, its more of a handling circuit and one which the Civic is well suited to'
front mount induction kit hope you are joking
