Regret the things you have done or regret things you havent done?

I prefer regretting the things i have done although its not always the best thing to have done at the time

Opinions?

Edit: to spice things up a little bit, maybe we should have examples

I regret some things I have done.

I regret kicking the shit out of a 'mate' when I was drunk.

I regret not seeing my family as much as I should.

I regret crashing my car.

To name a few.

For an example of myself, not perusing my football chances when playing for Derby boys, but giving up and deciding on something else.
I sometimes regret it, but i cant exactly go back and do it again

This is so weird. I was just thinking about this earlier.

I'd much rather regret something i have done than something i havent done

Neither are 'better', having stuff you regret is bad, either way.

I regret letting a girl come between me and my best mate for the 6 months before he was killed in a car crash (we wernt speaking)

I regret not standing up for my self in the past.
