Its a bit rough at the moment as its the first one and Ive only been going on pictures.

Just used a GSI throttle body so far and just need to to a cable bracket

As its mild steel its alot cheeper than ebay ones I think I can make a few more for around £100

Grind the welds down smooth, primer it and spray it satin black.
Then it wont look at all bad.
You'll need some form of crushable washers/rings for the top mounting bolts, else air will just leak in.

Fair do's for DIYing tho, the majority of people wouldn't have a clue where start.

To the engine bay beauticians the box isnt finished. It can still be painted, powder coated, or polished. Its up to you

The top bolts go through tubes through the box so it doesnt get cushed when bolting it down. So no worries about leaks there

More fool the majority of you who wouldn't have one because its not the prettiest of things.

At least the guy had the balls to make one, and even MORE fool you all if it works well.

to work well its going to need more than a bolt on box, its going to require setting up and a possible raised rev limit.

Looks far from finished to will reserve judgement on it till we see a RR graph. Whould be interesting to see the outcome.

Fair play to the maker, if it adds gains who cares what it looks like.

Vaux Lad is rite, sand down and paint and thats sorted but personally I wouldnt care what other people thought about it should be proud better then what I could do.

At the same time no offence it matches the rest of the engine bay
