148lb ft going by that.

Redtops make that as standard. They make around 170-180lb ft with bodies.

i belive that is his old engine 1.4 16v sport (correct me if am wrong)

his new engine is a 1.6 16v he was toying with the idea of a 1.8

He knows, he was going on about the fact its not reg'd as a 1.6.

do you not need the log book to tax it which would state that its a 1.4, thus falling into the lower group

Power to Weight Ratio 255.28 bhp per ton.

needs a diff and a decent oil system now to make the most of it. only current problem is that the alternator belt cant cope above 8000 rpm and flies off all the time
