For years now I have been amazed by what goes on in this country behind the scenes. I took an interest in it ever scince My daughter came home from school and told me that they dont use 'black boards' but white boards. Which they now must call drawing boards, Baa Baa black sheep is now called Baa Baa blue sheep. They arent allowed to ask for 'brown sauce' and many more shockingly silly things.
This week in my region the local authority have banned christmas decorations in the street that depict any form of religious symbols.
They also banned conkers from school this autumn for health and safety reasons.
They have already sent out letters in schools to ban snowball throwing, before it even snows.
A prisoner that was put away for 6 months for breaking into an old ladys house in Durham and stealing her dead husbands WW2 medals and selling them to buy heroin succesfully SUED the prison for forcing him to come off drugs. He was given over £30k in compensation. The old lady that was burgled lives in fear and wasnt even awarded the money to replace the Door that the man damaged during the break in. 8 months on from the break in it still doesnt lock properly. The man was released after 3 months with £30k in his account.
I have lots more info on similar things, anyone on here got any similar stories/views ?

Theres an indian guy in our office, safe as houses, and a member of staff really lectured him because he didnt know what rememberance sunday is. Then said something like "Its to remember the guys that lost their lives so you could be here now"

Theres a Christmas card competition for the local kids- best one is used and given out to the local community!
but we have been told to tell kids - that they are not allowed to put anything religious on the card, including santa!! wtf!

Wasn't it about a year ago that the Home Office settled for £10k or so each with 180 or so heroin addicts for making them go cold turkey when they went in prison. They settled because it would have gone against their human rights. Since when did drug-addict criminals deserve the same human rights as the rest of us?

My local paper is quick enough to point out how badly the government is handling the ilegal immigration situation but then runs stories how of ilegal immigrants that have lived in Swansea for years are being deported and how unfair it is! make up your mind!!!
