Following on from Jammybo's thread...

I got caught tonight at 109 average speed over 1.5 miles i mean
So, lets have a guess at what my outcome will be

Mr Policeman, told me that it'll most likely be 5 points and a big fine.
I'm going with 6 points and £500

Sorry to hear it, but what the fuck possess people to CRUISE at over 95?

Do speed limits not exist to some people?

I'm a believer in raising the speeding limit. Always have been.
The car and myself is 100% capable of the speed.

Im not digging at you personally at all mate, not at all.

Ive tipped a tonne a few times in my time, but the limit is there and enforced, why do people insist on breaking it all the time? I mean, am I the ONLY fucker that does 30 in a 30?

The car may feel like it is capable of doing that speed but there is no way you can stop in a safe distance if needing to.

Hope you don't get banned mate, good luck.

109mph for 1.5 miles is only 73 seconds.

I'm sure you've done that before.

To be fair, i'm only a believer in raising the speed limit on motorway. Don't speed on other roads.

Andrew, shush...
There aren't any cars ahead of me, so there is plenty of safe distant to brake. Don't jump to conclusions.

Robin. Never. I have NEVER cruised at over 85. Ever.

Its just pathetic, theres a speed limit there for a reason, I dont agree with 70, but untill its lifted, thats what ill stick around. Not nearly 40mph over it.

so why did you break the limit and do 100mph then, if the limit is forced

The point im trying to make - and can see im failing is that why do people cruise at silly 100+ speeds, ill admit to the odd blap, up to 100, lift off striaght back down to 75-80.

At those speeds there will be a car ahead of you in good time.

I bought my particular car because its fast and comfy.

Got caught, end of.

How do you know Mr Lee wasn't doing just that? He could have just done a quick spell to just over 100, for around a minute and 12 seconds, then got busted in that time...

I love it how you're moaning at him then admitting you've potentially done the same thing
