Anyone seen it? Heard of it?

Was chatting cars to Donna again last night. According to her, when she first had her GSi, she really badly wanted the Stienmetz upper rear Corsa B spoiler. It was very similar to her current smoothed in saxo spoiler extension.

Her and PVD ponce tried to find one years and years ago (When D5 was still white), but Stienmetz stopped making them due to lack of demand.

They only came available on the GSi (As it was the only model with the spoiler bar the SRi) fitment. Shes adiment you could get them, even from Vauxhall as its stienmetz kit. Shes seen one in a picture, but never saw one on the road, nor could they find one in the UK.

There were a few imported in, and they are much rarer than the front lower stieny lip (pre 97 lip).

Jsut wondered if anyone had heard of them, and if anyone got one, and does anyone have a damn picture..

No, its not just the little lip spoiler.

Thats why i said its like Donnas smooth Saxo spoiler.......

And to make it worse, that doesn't even list the pre 97 Stieny lower lip i've said. Which is more commen, but still very very rare.

Nahh, thats the Reiger GT/C one. SteveW had one on the LET corsa he bought off Anup. I was going to buy it from him till i realised it sat outside the car lines (like the replica spoilers do) so didn't bother.

Even rarer than that though.

Was probably part of the same kit as the Steinmetz GSi bumper lower spoiler

Welshdude, yeah, sure its part of the Stienmetz "GSI Kit" specially done for the GSi's. But infos coming up short.

Nowt i can do, im just miffed i've never seen this standard spoiler and its taken her nearly 8 years to tell me about it

no, myke had the ms design spoiler and its a bit bigger than the stieny and has a centre pylon, havnt got any pics to hand of it tho

It had a seperate spoiler like Donnas..

Sorry, best shot you can see the gap with..

Now im still a little "hmmmmmmmmmm" about it as its a bit much work for Stienmetz to do. But shes sure it was there, and really no reason to suggest she's lying. She wanted it from the very start, but could never get one, hence why she went for this style.

i am still unsure what your asking for, was it an extension? as you said it was only for the gsi so it must of gone on the existing gsi spoiler

yea, i bought it at the beginning of the summer, was going to take the engine out and transplant it into my car as steve had split it and it was just a rolling shell.
Circumstances changed and i had to sell it all off now and the car was scrapped

Possibly beardy, but the way she was explaining it it was a GSi spoiler, with a kind of Saxo spoiler smoothed on. I asked about there being a gap between the spoilers and she said yes. Its very similar to D5's current spoiler, but smaller overall.

Thats why im so confused, as i've never heard of it, ever... I'd heard of the GSi specific lip spoiler and knew that was ouber rare, but not the rear spoiler.

what lip is on the front of the GSi bumper?
Never seen the said spoiler so would be interested to see a pic.
