Read a few project threads on here and decided to do my own since I'm bored. I Bought a 2000 1.6 16V Corsa B in Nov 2007. Came fitted with custom exhaust/tints and 15" Fox alloys and Black Diamond Brake Discs. I also fitted a debadged grill which I since replaced with stock V grill. First pics of when I bought it:

Fitted some new 15" Ripspeed wheels (Wished I hadn't as I didn't realise how crap they were when I bought them)

Heater control bulbs had blown so I replaced these with Red LEDs:

The car had red painted calipers and rusty rear drums so I sanded these down and painted them gloss black:

Next up was fitting a full -60mm PI Suspension Kit:

Since lowering the car 60mm, the exhaust started banging on the rear axle. I took it to exhaustsuk who did a nice job of sorting the pipework out to clear the rear axle and I also had a new backbox put on with twin 4" rolled in tailpipes.

I sold my old debadged grill then decided I wanted another and some Depo headlights so these were purchased and fitted:

That's how she stands at the minute. I will keep this thread updated with updates etc.

Thanks for looking.

Progress on Cav GSi rims from this morning: Obviously. all wheels look the same so didn't want to have a massive pic fest so a few snapshots:

Rubbed down ready for primer:

2 Coats primer:

2 coats gloss black:

Center caps rubbed down and sprayed with plastic primer:

Also whipped the Ecotec cover off and rubbed down and primed, ready for gloss black:

So total progress as of now

1 wheel 2 coats black ready for laquer
center caps primed ready for paint as is the engine cover.

Cheers

Can't wait to get rid of the ripspeed wheels they're offset 40 with 195/50 also so rub a bit over bumps etc with the 60mm drop.

Be great to get rid of them and fit the ET49 cav rims

Going to go for Toyo T1-R or Goodyear Eagle F1s in 195/45

Yeah. The ripspeed wheels will be coming off ASAP, and melted down

The back box looks a lot better in the flesh now it's been used a bit. That pic was from when it was just fitted.

What wheels you gone for?
