Probably do it in 6, maybe 5 and a bit?

Edit: Don't know the route, so if it's not all motorway then it'll be longer.

I'll be leaving Dalkeith at 4:30pm & going to Boston, Lincolnshire via the A1, plenty speed cameras on that road so will be sticking to the limit. So if its 5-7hrs then i'll get there at say between 9:30 & 11:30.

A1 to Newark, then the A17 to Boston? You'll drive past my old house!
It should take 6 hours to get you to Boston, then about another hour to get to the edge of Norfolk. Where exactly in Norfolk are you going?

I would rather risk being tired and stay somewhere in Norfolk than stay overnight in Boston.......right shit hole

Also have fun on Lincolnshire and Norfolk's motorway-less and single-carriageway road network

Bostons not that bad, last time we stayed in a pub called the bull it was ok. Time before we were down we stayed in Hallbeach?.......total dive, full of chavs racing round in clapped out motors etc

I'll see its not for another week.

The A17 is dual carriage way for about 5 miles.
Once you get near Norwich, the A47 is dual carriage way; it's speed camera free, too.

Boston's not too bad, but it's not exactly great either.
Holbeach is definitely a hole though.
