alright fokes, not posted in a while but some of you might remember my arden blue 2.0 corsa project (this car):
well i had purchased every single part required for the conversion (rebuilt xe, new engine parts such as water pump and timing belt kit, f16cr, brake discs and calipers, fitting kit, decat pipe and exhaust)....then a truck went into the side of me, and the car was written off
however insurance payed out a fair amount, so this week i have been over to holland and bought an xe nova (as i am planning to move to holland for work in the summer) here are the pics from the advert, will take new ones next week. the car comes with a rr graph for 171bhp and has been show and magazine featured in holland numerous times. im chuffed to bits with it, and in a way pleased that an in-competant trucker wrote my car off

Now THAT is awesome.
Top work! (well done on choosing a Nova too )
I like the routing of the intake BTW. Never seen that before.

The filter is directly below air vents so in theory should be ok.
May need to fit some sort of water guard?

I had bother with a similar problem.
My nova had astra GSi vents in it and would let water through ( i cant remember what the water was going on, but it wasnt good)
So i made a little cover/shelf type thing so that the water would simply land on that, and then run off to a safer place. And wouldnt restrict useage/airflow.
Pretty simple really.
Ice cream tub upside down FTW.
