got a few pm regarding where i was gettin mine. got mine thru a group buy a guy from Rtec started on the corrado forum. had to get 6sets of same size + color and my 8x17s without tires were £365!!!had 6guys up for it, paid the £150 deposit and now wait 10weeks for them to get made and pay rest then. He is now stopped doing this now but another guy has started up, think they'd be sweet on corsas. did a photoshop on one back in the day looks sweet.
so for example
5sets of 7x16 et45 for £320
few examples
heres the info
Ok guys, I have managed to sort a deal out with a wheel supplier and can offer you BBS LM reps single piece in 7x16"/7.5x17"/8x17"/8.5x18"/8.5x19", 4x100, 5x100 or 5x112 and with any offset . The alloy can be supplied in black with a polished lip or silver with a polished lip. I have seen an alloy in the flesh and it looks amazing, with a very good finish. I need at least 5 people wanting a set to get the alloys ordered. The alloys will be made from scratch and will take 10 weeks to make and have them delivered. I can supply you with the alloys on their own or built up with tyres ready to fit to your VW. You can pick them up from Essex or I can have them delivered to you for £25 (without tyres) or £50 (built up with tyres) mainland UK only.
I need 5 people for each size - example 5 for 4x100 7.5x17", 5 for 5x100 8.5x18" etc
7x16" - £320 inc vat
7.5x17" - £375 inc vat
8x17" - £395 inc vat
8.5x18" - £450 inc vat
8.5x19" - £550 inc vat
My company name is Tuningwheels.com and I am currently setting up my website at the moment.
Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me on 07949 166000 or tuningmeisterjj@hotmail.co.uk
Many thanks JJ

Not sure if 16 would look a bit small. I'm almost half tempted for my Corsa. You got a pic of 16s on anything?

Yeah I know - just with Hamish saying he wants genuine ones, that works out more expensive.
Not sure whether you would want ET49 at that width, you've not massive amounts of room on the damper cowling if you go as low as 16s will permit.

Bear in mind I'm coming from Alessios so I don't want to go too crazy.
17s on my GSi would be though.

Agree. Would never buy cheap wheels, spent a fortune on Racing Hart's and they quality was sublime.

But would you spend £1200+ on wheels for a corsa

No, I'd buy something different. I'm not saying these won't be anygood but cheap wheels tend to bend more easily. Look nice though

I see where your coming from Nik but tbh most alloys out there are "cheap" but ive never had problems with my Boss alloys or my mates with Dare, BK etc.
But i get where your coming from mate and if i had a car worth spending £1.3k on wheels on then id get proper ones but for now i think these will do the job
