the offset, needs to be between 45-49, 49's the best though
the offset will be stamped in the back of the wheel usually

The offset will be stamped on the back of the wheel. At it will say ET?? with 2 2 digits. Needs to be between 45-49 for it to work mate

yes but will fail MOT.they are too wide for the arches.get the arches widened before lowering!

How come mine got through an MOT then
A 7" wide 17" wheel is fine. You may have to trim the arches.

They will not stick outside the arches unless the ET is miles below the 40's.
I had ET42 17's and they were not outside the arch.

just proves ya ca can pass with wide wheels on that was all sym 1 sed it wont with 7 ich wheels but his does with 8s just trying to help

The other member was stating that the 17's would stick outside the arch of a corsa and fail the MOT. Hamish was stating that they wont, as he's had 17's on a corsa, and so have I.

I have 17 x 7 with offset et35 on my corsa....on standard suspension no problems, no rubbing, fine for mot etc etc.

all i was stating is they wood be fine as well as my mates had 8s and they where fine thats all a have seen corsa with 18 by 7.5 pass mots

Even on with a 49mm offset and a 7" wide rim and chopped arches it sits fucking close.
I would also suggest binning the front shit catchers as well.

hamsih i quit clearly have no idea oviously the foffset will be stamped on there but i bet u they ainr 49 n wifout arch work they would still rub and wud fail an m.o.t.
