Technically, the series is wrong with regards to the car. The series is set in 1981, and whilst the UR Quattro was available, it was only in LHD until a few years later. Gene Hunts Quattro is a RHD, which wouldn't have existed then

Yeah, that was on top gear I think. Something to do with the fact that it had a vinyl roof in the series, whereas it wasn't available when the series is supposedly set
