Right, once the car is finished (2-3 weeks), i was wondering if there is anything a pro could tweek for me?
I mean, i have spax rsx coilovers (not the best i know), front & rear whiteline arb's, full cage, rear brace, poly bushes, new rack, track rods, bottom arms, ball joints & was wondering if theres anything that can be done to obtain some "optimum" settings?
i hear things like corner wieghting & stuff?

He said that he does. With them "Spinny top mounts" (i forget the word ) so your car has the best possible set up.

Saying and doing is completely different.
Is this for a corsa? I have heard that ditching the front ARB allows the corsa to corner better as the front will "Twist" and grip in to the corner.
that could be a good tweek

hmm, got a whiteline arb on, not used the lowering blocks for the xe conversion though.
will see how it does with it on & take it off, see what difference it makes.
once its on the road that is lol

i have the XE conversion and couldnt get the right blocks to lower the ARB. i have left it off and it works great. i only drive on the streets with it though vand not done a track day in the car. I will find some blocks or make some blocks for when i do eventually do a track day to test this theory myself.
I run Koni coilovers that ar around 3 -4 years old. rear ARB with 15's and the car is ok round bends

If I were you i'd look at a decent garrage with laser alignment gear who have experience in setting a car up.
I'm pretty sure Leda is now up north, when they were based down here Wilay had his H&R coilovers set up by them and it was spot on the money!!!

well we have corner weighting facilities as well as full computerised camber/castor/toe settings available. We also designed the new range of Gaz coilovers for the Vauxhall corsa C, Cav 4x4, Suzuki ignis and some TVR stuff.

cant do much to set up the geometry without adjustable topmounts really. make a big difference when they are fitted and set up correctly though.

Mark, the topmounts are £90 a set and I did a tutorial on here about how to fit them. I had hassle with them because the coilovers i was fitting them on had the wrong size strut top.

No worries.
And they are adjustable so you can set the camber / castor?
What do you charge for a full setup once they are on?
Nothing will be rusty, 90% of suspension bits are new.
Would like hieght set, camber / castor, poss corner wieghted if its worth it?

to set them up once fitted (toe, camber and castor) its £60.
corner weight it if you are willing to spend more money on new springs.

Mantamark try compbrake.co.uk for topmounts, got mine from there and I believe the adjustable corsa ones are CMB0207 £45+VAT.

Wasn't sure if their price was each or a pair, just remember them being a lot cheaper than anyone else when I was shopping for them a while back.
I haven't seen the nova for 5months, could've been stolen for all I know . .......
Really struggling to justify keeping at the moment...
