about time aswell. lowered it on eibach's today with the help of my dad. they only give a 35mm drop but it makes such a big improvement over standard.

standard height:

after springs fitted (got a little snap happy) they are still settling in, should go down fully in 2 weeks or so.

next on the list is a 3.5'' outward rolled piper stainless steel cat back system and possibly wind deflectors. then i'm going to get the wheels refurbished, not sure on colour yet.

then it's the big wait until july for this:

thinking about doing the wheels either a dark gunmetal colour, standard silver or white, just hard to choose

such a pain in the arse fitting springs, can see why people just pay garages

Very nice looking car, wheels would look great in anthracite

one thing though, Is there any point continuing to mod it ( more specificly the exhaust ) if your getting rid in less than 6 months?

i wouldnt wait that long. i fitted my coilovers and wheels to my last corsa and it took 2-3 weeks to wear the inside edge of the tyre out completely!

i'd get it done then go back in a few weeks and have it checked again and reset if needed, alot cheaper than new tyres.

Who told you to leave it 2-3 weeks before having the tracking done?

can see their point if the springs will settle, which might affect the trackin, but i'd still get it done asap

Well, ignore them and have it done sooner, your springs won't "settle", that's a load of shit, if they need to settle, they're not fitted in the spring cups correctly.

If you wait 3 weeks and it's miles out, you'll destroy the front tyres, which, like Martin says, will cost more than having the tracking done (even if you have it done twice)

they look great mate, do you have any problems with clearance on speed bumps, etc anymore than on standard height??

also, does it make the comfort of the ride any worse?

so far i've had no issues with clearance, been up a few humps and clears easily.

as for ride comfort, it's never been decent due to stiffer suspension from factory and 17'' wheels with 40 profile tyres so i didn't notice any real difference in the ride, only the fact it turns in so much better and has much less bodyroll
