Fuck knows but get out of Scotland, Glasgow has been voted the most dangerous city in Europe for 2007.

2 years running.

My family are moving to California early 2009.

Nah, Over the last year iv heard sooooooo much positive things about Canada its unreal.

How safe/clean/cheap/friendly/fun/nice a place it is.

My aunty went over on a buisness trip in 2003. She never came back. Says she doesnt know why she put up with Glasgow for so long.

All sorts of different people i know have been, Heard stuff on TV etc. But not once have i heard something bad.

Definetly a place im visiting soon and would be the first on my list to live in. Not many places like it left.

If i had enough time to get into my car and start the engine without being ripped across the face that would have genuinely been me.

Most of Scotland is a total slum. Though im not sure places abroad are as cooshy as they seem. My sister stayed in New Zealand for a year & said drugs & crime in Aukland was as big as it is over here.

Canada sounds nice............would be hard to up & move though.

You can drive 10 minutes from my house and be out in the country with none of this, the whole of scotland isn't bad, i'm sure the same problems exist everywhere if you go to the right places.

Its not the places that's bad its the people in them, therfor you get violence and drug problems everywhere, just some more than others. You just dont read it in your 'visit new zealand' brochure when you're bookin you're trip.
