i have a set of 15" alloys at the moment with budget tyres on, can any1 recommend any tyres that are really grippy? maybe from past experience? tyre size is 195/45/15. thanks in advance

yokohamas are pretty good. i just got through a set of pirelli zero nero's on the front of mine, they're awesome!!!

i used 2 have p zero neros on a set of 17,very grippy,but dint last very long at all

to be honest I always thought the A539s were budget tyres, they came with a deal I got on alloys and werent very impressive to be honest
Good ones are like dunlop SP sport ones but theyre about 75 quid each for 14s

not sure abput "performance" tyres but named brands such as UniRoyal Rainsports and Goodyear Eagle F1s are highly recommend by CS
i have some Rainsport in that size and can't fault them

yokos are good in the dry but very poor in the wet, i prefer rainsports, best tyres iave ever had

i have yoks very poor in wet going to get some uniroyals next, have had toyos were quite good but went through a set very qwuickly

iv got some yokahama advans, there great in the dry but are pretty poor in the wet. id prob go for some toyo's mate.

195/55's but good
edit - and at the minute i have federals on mine. 195/45's. Just as good as yoko's, about 37 a tyre.

pick you your yellow pages, or use yell.com and search your local tyre fitters. in 30mins you'll have a dozen quotes and availability.
its how i got mine. £38 a corner and had to wait a week for them to come in

got a set of wanlang or something tyres on mine.. (budget crap) but cant fault them. grip in the wet and in the dry, only problem is if you try doing a lil burn out well it wont work. just heats the tyres up and they grip the road to much so it kills the engine.
£25 a tyre and im impressed with them.
