Rite.
I was driving down the duelcarageway(SP) doing about 70mph
then a wee orange light in the dash came on
it is a picture of an engine!
can any one tell me why this is??

yeah they randomly come on, if it doesnt go off then have it checked / put a piece of tape over it

Open the sunroof, Then drive in reverse to let air flow into the interior.

Dont drive to far or you'll clog up the air reserve tank for the tyres.

About 15ft or so, Then it should go off.

it's you engine management light dude, if it's on theres a problem, you can do the paper clip test or take it to a garage to get the fault codes read and go from there.

The tank that reserves the air for the engine compression.

similar to the water tank but not as large. If you reverse with the sunroof open, It will let fresh flow into the interior. Like i said , dont go too far or you'll clog the tank up, Then you'll have to open the boot too let it out again.

do a search for the paper clip test, that'll flash up the fault code, or take it to a garage.
