Im Gonna be a dad soon...So im looking at a newer car...
I really like the astra Vxr and corsa vxr and looking for something newer and abit bigger..

I have a Seat ibiza cupra 20vt stage 1 atm and love it but fancy something newer....around 56/57 reg maybe..

What do people think of them..
Im 21 and been driving 3 years and have 1 yrs NCB and 1 accident at fault..Do you think insurance will be a issue here? Will ring round 2morro?
I also looked at something vag like an mk4 golf r32 but there way to high insurance wise...

Thanks

I wouldn't buy either with kids on the way.

My brother in law has an Astra VXR and it's impossible to get a baby seat in the back without snapping your spine.

Get a 5 door, you'll only end up doing it after a short time anyway, when you've had enough of struggling with a small gap and a big seat.

Totally agree, the seats in the corsa are a bugger to slide back and forward.

Agreed. Got an Astra and you really REALLY dont want one with a child. Will be a nightmare. Hard enough for a full sized adult to get past the front seats.

Astra 150bhp 5 door?

But if funds allow, and you can afford the running costs (wont be cheap, V6 turbo, astras doing aveage of 26-27mpg), what about a Veccy VXR. Then that would be a pimp wagon. 300+bhp after a remap.

What about a Zafira VXR? Or the previous Z20LET version? I prefer the older shape version, daddy cool
