Want to go to Cardiff today for a night with Rob and to see an old friend. Problem is I've got work tomorrow at 7am...

I can't phone in ill, as i'm in work on monday, and don't want to make it look like I was lying. Plus i'm on my last warning (Due to downloading too much / streaming / being late) So I don't want to just no turn in...?

What would you do? What would you say to get you out of work for the day.... please serious replies

I would have been thinking the same as you 18 months ago.

It aint worth it though, seriously

My list of excuses was long and varied overs the years though. My best were spare of the moment ones when they called me at like 10.30am and woke me up:

I'm in hospital with a mate he's had a car crash and puncutered his lung (not sure where that came from but my mates girlfriend was nearly punching me when I was saying it), my mate lost his job over that

I have been in hospital as I got bottled last night (again not sure which bit of my brain that came from)
