I always get mine well done, cos sadly not many places can get medium-well done without having it pissing blood. So it's safer to ask for well done. Unless yours was like charcoal.

Sadly I've found not many of the pubs in Southport can accomplish this feat without it still being pink and lying in a pool of blood

I'll save the blood next time and post it to the vampire Cosmo. Who I believe makes a brief cameo in Lost Boys 2.

Surely there's only a handful of people with stomachs capable of digesting that in 1 sitting?

It was for size comparison.

Steak was served with chips and pepper corn sauce, as its the law.

me? theres less blood in a blue steak than a rare or medium rare.

The blood doesn't get time to return to liquid form if you only sear the outside.

I eat it in a set manner as well; I cut off all of the cooked part; eat that first and then eat the raw section in the middle seperately.

I have been known to eat completely raw beef

see I prefer the texture of a blue or rare steak - Medium and above is too tough; well done might as well be dog meat as you cook all the flavour and texture out of the meat anyway.

Raw beef isn't too bad; one of the best starters in my opinion is Carpaccio of beef [or wood pigeon] which is very thinly sliced raw meat, served with rocket, parmasan and balsamic vinegar
