has anyone with a Corsa XE got a proper aftermarket exhaust system fitted to it? Not a bodged/powerflow (same thing?) system.

i.e. JP, Tony Law etc. Notice any improvements, worth the money?

I know jr has a full custom, but competition system fitted to his, but he won't be able to tell you if it has made a difference for a long time yet!

didn't know there were any "aftermarket" non custom exhausts for a Corsa XE due to it never being a production model?

They're not "Aftermarket" as in off the shelf. A powerflow exhaust is about as much use as trying to drink a milkshake through a biro. They're shite. Hence my question if I got a 'proper' exhaust

I had an off the shelf Magnex mated to my XE and that lasted me best part of 7 years and is still on the car to this day which is testiment to its quality over the likes of "budget" custom systems.

No doubt. Magnex exhausts are very good, but in terms of flow/design for an XE I think the only way is to go custom.

but erm, any custom made exhaust is a bodge according to 'DaveB'. Mate, your a fucking loser that talks shit and dont know what your talking about.

How do you think companies like magnex etc get their designs in the first place? They have to first be made custom before put into production, so going of your views 'DaveB' these must be bodgeries aswell. Sorry to be blunt fella but im supprised noone has said anything before me.

il think you will find that exhauasts like magnex and scorpion come under the aftermarket off the shelf section mate these are no way custom just mass produced after market exhausts to me a custom exhaust is a one off exhaust

yes i know this, but 'off the shelf/aftermarket' exhausts still have to be custom built to start with so they have a design to go off, and because they are mass produced they dont always fit right, we get them in all the time and have to modify them to get a proper fit.
We have cars running 400bhp+e tc with our powerflow systems and they dont have one problem with our systems and benefit from them also(our timeattack 200sx runs one).
Depends where you go as to how well built the system is.

I had a powerflow sytem on my XE for most of its life, no problems with it. Had it on a few rolling roads as well and regularly made 155-160bhp which is pretty much book so id say that was good. Depends where you go though i suppose.
