Would watch out with combat kits because they are bad if you live in an area with speed bumps etc even cars without bodykits that are lowered can scrape a lot

Personally I wouldn't fit a Combat kit. Not only are they massively unfashionable but fibreglass is completely impractical for a new driver. Even if you do a good job of fitting it yourself which as you're asking how to do it I'm not sure about, but you'll still have the issues with it not withstanding even minor impacts particularly well.
If you're fitting 16s, make sure you get a set that fit well. This will normally mean OE from a larger Vauxhall or a limited list of aftermarket wheels.
You don't need to do anything with the suspension but you would be well advised to lower it just to get it looking right with the bigger wheels.
Welcome to the site mate. Hope your daughter likes the car

Combat kit won't sell for much on here. Might make more on Ebay but not loads. Perhaps 100 quid?
Have a look at recent feature cars for an idea of what works well. If you find one you like the details should be in the spec list, or post the username in here.

Try mixing and matching things that you see on here to your daughters taste but try and avoid big 17s and bodykits

That won't be cheap to replicate. Bumper is an Irmscher airdam which are rare and fairly in demand. Plus that one has been smoothed which is more prep work.
